Embassy of India Celebrates Christmas
Celebration of Christmas was organized at Embassy of India on January 4, 2019. The event was attended by a large number of guests from Indian diaspora, including members of the Indian Christian community and representatives from media. Chargé d'affaires Ambassador Santosh Jha addressed the gathering.
The programme included invocation by Rev Binoy Akkalayil Lucka, Parochial Vicar, St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Dr. Graceson Kannamplave of the Evangelical Order highlighted the significance of Christmas and its relevance to India.
The celebration featured singing of Christmas carols by the choir of Memorial First India Methodist Church Choir.
